How much to restring a 15" string of pearls please?

Hi, can anyone give me a rough guide to how much it might cost to have a 15" pearl necklace restrung please. Many thanks.

This firm states "Our basic guideline price for re-stringing is £1.50 per inch which includes VAT and return by Royal Mail Special Delivery service at an insurance level that covers the value of your pearls (maximum £2,500)":

Wonder why they don't do re-stringing or repairs in November or December. ^^

I would imagine it is because of Christmas. Most jewellers will not do engraving at this time of year, unless you have bought the item from them. The same goes for repairs.
