i want a bike hybrid type perhaps

about 200 mark

are ones from halfords / decathlon any good??

i have been told to look a t "cube" claude butler" "specialized"

want to ride mainly on raod - and a little bit of of road

Not sure that you can get any of the makes mentioned for £200. Go to an independent bike shop NOT a big multinational as you are far more likely to get personalised service and non- manufacturer biased selling.
