For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Go down to the postage section, where it says "no international postage" click on the drop down menu and select Flat cost to all buyers. You then find a set of options comes up, you can choose worldwide or pick European countries etc. Make sure that you calculate the postage for those countries (the Royal Mail has a really good calculator for overseas on http://www.royalmail....53800712&catId=400036 Good luck!
Hi nibble - there is no drop down menu at the internation postage section showing - I have one at the domestic postage section - that is set at flat rate and when I click that drop down, I do get options, but they are domestic options only or I can select postage to UK from outside UK, but there is nowhere to select European countries. It does allow me to exclude countries in the exclude postal locations section - I did that for all except Europe but that mad no difference.
It was only cos I had an enquiry from someone in Holland to bid on a listing I have running that has prompted me to try to change it. Listing ends in an hour anyway, so looking unlikely to sort it out. I listed this as part of ebay's free listing weekend - wonder if that has placed restrictions on the listing?
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Annie. no the free listing element doesn't make any difference.
I've got something listed for UK only at the moment, when I go to Revise your Item, go down to the postage section. You will see it says, Domestic postage. Under that should be another box with a drop-down saying "No international postage". Click on that and the second option there is "Flat rate for all international buyers". Click that and then a little raft of boxes should activate - as nibble says, for you to choose worldwide or select which countries (I usually do a worldwide rate and a Europe rate, between them they cover everything).
I realise that it's too late to do it for your listing now ended, but if it didn't sell and you want to relist it so you can contact your Dutch would-be buyer, you can change the postal options at the time you relist, by using the revise or edit options. You could still have sold to the Dutch person btw, by telling them how much p&p would be (using nibble's postage table for example), then letting them bid then correcting the postage when you raised the PayPal invoice to them - it's done automatically if it's on the listing, but you'd have to do it manually otherwise.
I do hope this helps - please come back if it doesn't! It works for me, I had something the other day which was UK only but sold in the end to a foreign buyer.

Hi boxtops, thanks for that, the problem was that the international post area didn't have anything clickable on it - I did go in and relist and was able to click and give all the international options and also set it as buy it now - it is all done and dusted now - except the posting!
Interestingly, she said that it would not allow her to bid on it as a foreign buyer as I had thought the same, that I would just agree the postage price and add on the difference to the invoice.
Thanks again

I believe that's a different issue from a postage one. Try this.

You can open up the bidding for individual buyers too:

If ever you need any advice on all things eBay, you can do worse than ask in the Answer Centre, especially if you can find TOPCAT's pages, such as Topcat packs a parcel. He or she has been a Godsend to me many times. Don't you think though, that an eBay/auctions/carboot section would be good on here too, as there are so many people who do all 3. What do you think? SHall we ask the ED?
