hI Masie yes sleety snow falling at the moment . I am in the Hinckley area.
We've had a light dusting and it's trying hard to dump some more. Typical given I have to go to work today.
I'm a little fed up with the ice and snow.
Hi wendilla the kids were over your way on Sunday. Went to see Santa at Woodlands. We are near to Ashby de la Zouch, large flakes here and settling. we've had the ice for the past 2 weeks as well
Sounds like the East side of the country is being hit now. It was the NW at the weekend.
Booldawg - we're in North West Wales and we had tons of the stuff again in the night. I believe Anglesey had even more. I'm getting fed up of it now. I need to get to the shops! We still have about a foot or more and it's frozen solid underneath.
loads of the stuff here in birmingham, BRING ON THE THAW!!!!!!

hI Woodlands is not as good as it used to be it has gone too commercial. There is another nursery just about half a mile further on and last year they had a super display especially for the kids but not quite sure if they have done the same this year.

Now it is falling as snow grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Still there wendilla but as far as I know they dont sell the boxes of biscuits at the gatehouse like they used to. Woodlands was sold about 3 years ago (could be longer) and it's not been the same since. I know the other nursery and I used to use it a lot
Here in Southend on Sea (SE Essex) I think we've had our share, although there is plenty to be seen it is slowley thawing. Lets hope it carries on that way.
