Tesco Voucher.Can anyone use them?

My friend has given me a Tesco voucher that was printed off at the till( £2 off £20) Would I be able to use it or can only she use it?

Yes anyone. I often use the 5p off a litre of petrol ones that are given to me by relatives who don't drive much.

Depends on if it has her clubcard number printed on it or not - if not then its all good :)

If you use any kind of voucher issued by Sainsbury's, they require you to produce the Nectar Card with the same number as that on the voucher.
Of course all Supermarkets may vary in their rules.

With Co op's money off coupons they can only be used after we've scanned your loyalty card.

The vouchers given at the till in Tescos are just based on having spent enough and are for anyone. You don't need a clubcard to get them. I see they have just started advertising the petrol one if you spend £50.
The vouchers that are sent to your home however need the clubcard present to claim.

Prudie - some of the till receipt vouchers ARE linked to your clubcard - they target things you regularly buy or try to tempt you to a more expensive alternative!

it does say have your clubcard with you but from what i can see they dont have a number on. I got given a £12.00 off one with my reciept that has to be used by 12th, I tried giving it to the next woman in queue but she didnt understand me and started saying how things are so expensive nowadays so I gave up and gave it to mum when I got home

Sainsburys are a bit silly coz surely they would get more people spending money if they let anyone use them

Oh maybe bushbaby, tbh I only notice the petrol ones that they they do at certain times (like now) and that is for anyone who spends more than £50 in one go.

I used a friends £7 of £50 one last night as she couldn't use it in time.
