You can park there Mick, no probs, E.S. also has a large depot at Crick, just off the MI, that depot has the rail connection, the Tautliners are put on the backs of adapted rail bogie's & railed Northbound.

When I used to drive up and down the motorways for work or pleasure I always thought the journey had really begun when I saw the Stobart Truck.
Norbert Dentressangle doesn't own a London airport, Eddie Stobart does.
sorry, that should read... when I saw the first Stobart Truck
E.S. a few years ago bough out Robsons of Carlisle, Eddie did not like the way the drivers used to wear boiler suits & any shirt will do type of clothing, then drivers were drivers " Roping & sheeting" not the glory boys they have now, I admire his stance regards the cleanliness of the fleet, but at one time if a driver did not wear a tie & was seen not to wear a tie they were sacked.

Do not ever sully the Stobart name with putting the word morons in the same sentence.
Bosses are ignorant and their drivers seem to be much the same. (malcolms)
Can you not cheat - find out the names of the lorries and then pretend you saw them?
Malcom is a big comp, but the Biggest private in the UK is E.S. the largest in Europs is N.D. & I gather, bigger that E.S.

Alba, if you ever get the time just have a chat to a HGV Driver, ask him / her the hours they work, the pay they get, the abuse they get it will open your eyes. been there but did not take the sht that some tried to give me.
Question Author

I've never heard of this. How interesting. I didn't know the trucks have names. It's a hidden world right in front of my eyes. What's the betting the next time I see a lorry I'll look for the name!!
I have utmost respect for HGV drivers, it was the boss of this particular company which riled my neighbours and I up.
Good and bad apples in all walks of life.
I haven't seen a Stobart truck in the West of Scotland for years :-(
