I have a couple of the clear stamps which seem to have got stuck to the backing plastic sheet (acetate?). Any ideas as to how they can be removed? If I pull too hard, chances are that they will tear. I have used plain hot water and then hand soap in an attempt to free them without success.

Freeze them. It works for other sticky stuff so might be worth a try.

Thanks - anything is worth a try. In the freezer as I write.
what make are they? some are really set fast on the acetate and will stand quite violent pulling to remove them. If you don't feel you can do that then try easing up one corner and putting a few drops of wd40 or soemthing similar between the acetate and the stamp. leave the whole thing in a warm, not hot place (airing cupboard) overnight.

OK woof, freezer didn't work, so now we try WD40.
