Knitting Wool From The Works

Has anyone purchased the space dye knitting wool from The Works? I am confused as it is described as '3ply DK'. Is it 3ply or DK? As I don't live close to an actual store I was going to order online but don't like using anything thinner than DK. Any help is appreciated.

Not a place I would buy from, even Hobbycraft is better.
3 ply is a skinny wool, DK is up 2 places.
May I suggest you look at Kemps, or Maple Tree YArns

I am pulling something from the depths of my memory, but I seem to remember that this will be 3 ply (strands) of a heavier wool equal to weight of DK. I had a quick look at their website and it has very bad review of that wool.
