Help Finding Knitting Pattern For Baby/childs Tigger Jumper
14 Answers
Hello
Can any ABers help with finding a Tigger jumper knitting pattern suitable for a baby/child’s jumper? I have found a few graph patterns suitable for adult jumpers but they are way too big for toddler’s jumpers, and I really don’t want to try downsizing it. I have found one jumper pattern in a Disney character knitting book on Amazon but its way out of my price range (over £50!) I have also found a Leisure Arts pattern but it is an American site and after a few bad experiences ordering things from the States I really don’t want to try ordering it. Any help or directions to UK sites/firms would be much appreciated.

if you have the pattern for an ordinary child's sweater, all you need do is find a cross stitch chart for Tigger. (I think I may even have one) then you incorporate the grid into the sweater, and if I remember rightly for ever one cross stitch you have to knit two stitches or it might be two knitted stitches to one cross stitch - might be advisable to have a practice knit of the picture you want to knit. It is not unknown for stitchers to use the grid pattern for a knitted sweater to make into a cross stitch picture.
