'plastic Coating' On Painted Guitar.
5 Answers
I am planning to re-finish the body of an electric guitar and was wondering if Rustin's Plastic Coating would sit ok on an undercoat of car spray colour.
Obviously I've tried researching this in the usual places but drawn a blank.
TIA for any help.

Ok ...many thanks for that, the body I was looking at was this: http:// www.eba y.co.uk /itm/Te lecaste r-guita r-body- with-pi ckguard -red-gr een-blu e-or-bl ack-fin ish-TL- style-/ 1609909 86433?p t=LH_De faultDo main_3& amp;var =&h ash=ite m257bcf 80c1. (I would be throwing out the nasty pick-guard!)
The alternative would be to start with a pre-made unfinished basswood body (which I assume would need to be pre-sealed before painting). By art-spray do you mean something water-soluble or acrylic?
