Can You Spend A £5 Queen Mother Birthday Coin?
3 Answers
Just curious if these were ever meant to be used as tender.
I have one, still in the card, but it doesnt say commemorative or anything - its a proper coin.
and on ebay they mostly sell for under or just over the face value so its not especially collectable
never seen any used in shops - it looks like a gold medal :D
just curious really.
might try and buy a pint in the pub with it :D
thanks
