Some jobs I've seen full time are not local or abit further out. Is where it is located first or hours?

As long as you can get there on time and get home then it's hours that counts

It depends on how long you are willing to travel to work and the amount you will be paid. The important issues are

1. Is it a full time job.

2. Are you qualified for the job, can you do all that is asked.

3. Is the salary you are paid worth travelling for.

These are decisions only you can make not us. We can advise but you usually ignore most of the advice given to you

Some people travel for many miles to get to work, abbey.   If you want the job it's just something you have to do.  You could always take up reading books to pass the time.

Does abbey ever act on the advice that she's given.

If not , what's the point in giving it?

How long would each bus journey take, Abbey?  Are you talking
half an hour or more?  You seem to tire easily so it would not be ideal if you are faced with long journeys each day.  On the other hand, you want full time hours with more money so really your decision.

1. Is it a full time job.

Yes

2. Are you qualified for the job, can you do all that is asked.

Some

3. Is the salary you are paid worth travelling for.

Doesn't say salary

What's the job, abbey?

I knew someone who travelled from Market Harborough to Parliament square every day.

Warehouse and stock controller

Abbey, staying local hasn't been at all successful for you over the last couple of years. Very few jobs seem to have come up and you didn't make any progress in the positions you had. Maybe accept that, like many people, you'll need to factor in a longer journey to and from work.

Abby, how about a full time job in a fashion store or a supermarket?

//Warehouse and stock controller //

Are you sure you can do that job ?

Smurf I've looked and they're all part time unless your a manger

Abbey, what happened to the idea of staying at Selco and getting another part time job?

If you find the right job then move to be near where it is. Lots of people move for work, I did.

Question Author

Oh yes. I applied for a part time other day.

Abbey, I'm not sure stock controller will be for you.  That's a big responsibility.

Question Author

I did it before maybe was less work in it. Shame there a part time job in Tesco by me but would mean I'd be working every day

Abbey, you've always said you'd like to work in a warehouse, but you need to be realistic about the jobs you could actually do in one. I think a stock controller would be beyond you, maybe it's something you could work up to in time.  And there's no point in applying for jobs, any jobs, that you simply couldn't do - due to lack of experience, skills etc.

Is it more hours than Selco?  What days?
