I went on a balloon trip for my fortyeht birthday, it was wonderful.
I was mildly freaked out as it rose off the ground, but that passed almost instantly, and really enjoyed the trip. We went over Cannock Chase and were able to see wild deer who would be long gone if we had approached them on foot.
The landing can be bumpy, and the basket may tip, so hold tight to the insidee ropes, and be ready if it goes over.
yep, went on a Virgin flight over Essex in April; just wonderful. You drift for miles - you can't even feel the breeze that's moving you along. Landings can be mildy bumpy on occasion, but mine wasn't. Champagne was waiting for us when we came down. Here I am:
We did one when on Holiday in Kenya. I have to be honest and say the actual flight was a big let down. Was only airborne for 1/2 hour, and we didn't see that much wildlife, the cost was just over 200 hundred pounds each. Mind did get a champange breakfast , but I still think it was a big rip off.
