hi can any one tell me are the battery grips sold from china on ebay any good and do you have to remove the battery cover from the camera to fit them any help i would be grateful thanks

well i would stay away from them myself - go to the nikon site and get one - pay a little / alot more, but its worth it .

Can't comment on whether they are any good or not. Have been looking at them myself. I do know that you have to remove the battery cover as the battery grip has to connect with the battery contacts within the camera. Have a look at youtube clip.
