Cute.
Beautiful Polly :0)
Nice pics, Polly.

I wish I'd had a camera handy when I found my cat, a blackbird and a hedgehog all eating from the same bowl simultaneously!
lovely Polly.

Thanks folks, that would have been some picture Buenchico. This one's feeding frantically at the moment and sits on the door handle to let us know!
The only birds that ever sat on my hand was a jackdaw and pigeons and doves.
And my nans budgie when I was little. The jackdaw was the best one. Mr. Cupid and
I were on holiday on the Isle of Wight and we went to Flamingo park and the crafty
little jackdaw sat on my husbands hand and proceeded to try and undo Mr.Cupids
watch without any success. We had left our camera in the car and I sent my husband
to retrieve it but couldn't get the jackdaw to perform the same trick again!
Those are brilliant Polly, thanks for sharing :-)

Thanks Boo,nature is wonderful isn't it? The first time he did it I was quite overcome.
Yeah, i'd be chuffed to bits too if something so obviously so wild trusted me enough to allow me to get that close.
Question Author
He's not been around that long either,so I was stunned that as you say, he's so trusting.
What lovely photos, Polly - he is so tame.
Question Author
I know DEN isn't he wonderful?
Lovely photo's your so lucky
Ahh so lovely Polly thank you for sharing the photos with us. Is this a regular occurrence?
Fab pics Polly. Reminded me of a blackbird that used to sit on a tub of mealworms in my porch, waiting to be fed.

Sadly, he was taken by a sparrowhawk. It's nature, I know.....was very upsetting though.

Several times a day Granny Grump,I keep him in with raisins, and Chappie thats what I worry about, and cats, luckily there aren't any that close to us,but I do worry about him.
Question Author
Sorry, I should have said mrs chappie
Lovely pictures, how tame it is. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I was the same,Polly, worrying about Blackie. It's horrible because you can't do anything to prevent it.

I've got a similar worry at the moment with a pheasant that comes every day for food. He's so funny. He comes with his lady friend and does a little dance on the garden, with his feathers puffed up to impress her. I've grown very fond of him and if he's late, I think the worse.

Thanks marval,i,ve been trying to upload a video of him too but was taking too long.
