of course any relationship with abig age range can work. but it might get to be more of a problem as the couple age 24 and 44 dosn't seem so far apart but 54 and 74 assuming it lasts that long becomes a big problem with old age and infirmity

 It's mostly down to the personalitites - but 20rs is a big age difference - my husband is 10yrs younger than me and so far (31yrs) we are doing OK
