We've just had an interview with Bob obstensibly promoting Grumpy Old Men out here. Never had much time for him before but found him quite impressive in his honesty. I know he's been in trouble at the press awards but what do everyday folk think of him?

He's straight and to the Point,I Like that.Plus he doesent like Mondays!!
Exceptional person.  Genuine and full of energy and commited to what he believes.  His knighthood was earned and deserved .  Long live Sir Bob.

yeah he's genuinely passionate about what he does and clearly intelligent enough to get results.

i wouldn't buy his records though. no siree.

Bobs one in a million!
i really admire people who say what the rest of us are too polite to say.  I also really admire people who can make scruffy a style statement

I have always admired Sir Bob Geldolf for his honesty.

He is a remarkable person & a good father to his daughters, including the little girl he adopted.

Not so sure about his singing though, even his daughters think it's naff - bless em!

Straight talker, which I really admire.  Honest, self depricating and maintained his dignity throughout the untidy split from Paula.

Obviously a devoted, doting father to his children, even more so in raising Tiger Lily along with her half sisters.

An all round good egg in my humble opinion.

Hes honest and really cares how many people in the public eye can you say that about?

He speaks intelligently and honestly, it's a pity he doesn't stand for parliament.
A caring and intelligent human being.

Sir Bob, take a bow!
Boomtown Rats, a fine example of good music with political message. Unlike some of his peers he has not yet disappeared up his own a**.
