Anyone live on the Essex coast? What's it like to live there?

Did I reply to you about Sussex recently, mydogs?! I don't know Essex all that well, but the coast is fabulous - flat and quite bleak, and I like that. Had a nice weekend in Leigh-on-Sea and liked the look of that place very much. You've inspired me to go back now.

I don't like Colchester at all. Lots of rude people in Essex so go prepared for war.

People there seem to love anything to do with the United States and they a share a similar taste in how to dress.

Nice places to go are Finchingfield, Frinton and Southend. Southend is particularly lovely in a nice summer's day - but avoid the high street - horrible trashed area.
