don't know - but it's interesting that there don't appear to be any frontrunners, or even any potential candidates at all, just yet. As I recall, both Clinton and Bush Jr were up and running at this stage - admittedly very early - in their campaigns. I agree with Bernardo that it won't be Hillary - though a contest between her and Condi Rice would be fascinating, I don't think Americans will pick a woman for a long time yet.
John McCain for the Republicans and Hilary Clinton for the democrats are to the fore at the moment. I thing Rudi Guillliani has a chance and I liked John Edwards although his wife if fighting cancer at the moment. I agree with both of you though I can't see a woman in there yet.
