Charlie Drake - still alive?

Charlie Drake (comedian on tv in the 60s and 70s). I can't find out much about him on the internet. If he is still alive he'd be 77. Anyone know? Thanks

Yes I believe so. Wasn't he in a prison comedy film? The Cracksman, wasn't it? It also had Ronnie Barker in it.

Every day, certain newspapers publish a list of the names of well-known people whose birthday it is. A friend and I always make note of these on days when we know we will meet in our local, so that we can each propose a birthday toast to our 'icon' of the day. Quite recently, mine was 'Charlie Drake', so unless he has passed on - which heaven forbid! - in the past ten days or so, he's still with us.
