My DH celebrates his 40th next month, but I haven't a clue what to buy him... any ideas?  I've gone through the usual ideas; footy tickets, weekend away, karting/racing car for a day,  He already has a couple of nice watches and isn't in to jewellery. I don't want to get him the usual, clothes, CD's, DVD's vouchers, etc.  He's not a fussy guy (his Mrs is, ha ha!) so would probably be happy with whatever I get him, but I would like him to have something to remember his 40th by.  Any ideas....?  BTW, I have about 150 to spend tops.  Thanks peeps! x

How about a flying lesson. My Mum did this for my Dad on his 50th and he loved it.

Why not buy him a goat (Oxfam 24)

I won a Lego racing car and my other half took great delight in putting it together (kept him occupied whilst I went shopping for me).

My husband bought me a helicopter lesson for my 50th birthday - it was one of the most fascinating experiences & one I will never forget. Mind you, it was a bit more than 150.

Other than that, an air balloon ride is another nice present.
