Wow, I'd love to do that! I'll race ya bednobs :) Wonder how easy it is to get up to the landing stages. Is that the lake part way up Snowdon?

me too! it's a bit far to go if it's cancelled owing to weather tho

Probably not so far for me, bednobs, still I'd also be pretty disappointed if it got called off due to bad weather also.

it did make me laugh when i saw it was the number 1 top thing to do in Bangor. I did wonder if there was a number 2

apparently eve, the only thing you need to be able to do is walk 200 meters on the level

Wow, that's alright then! I've never managed Snowdon (no chance of it now either, keep meaning to get the train up some time!).

Some friends of mine were doing the Welsh 3000s a few years back (15 peaks about 3000ft in 24 hours) and I helped run support (mainly lots of cooking for them) but no chance I was going anywhere remotely in an up direction! Shame as it looks beautiful on photos of up there, especially sun up/down.
