Can anyone tell me, why is it when men go to the toilet in a public house or similar place, they always come out of there still doing up their flies? Can men not do their flies up before they return to the room?

Double checking, nothing more sinister than that. For some unaccountable reason it just seems more acceptable to adjust your clothing as you're coming through rather than linger as somebody else is abluting.

Blokes probably don't use loo paper either, or wash their hands after peeing.  I would imagine they can't help getting a drop of pee on things especially after they've had a few beers.  I am not claiming all women wash their hands post-pee but as far as I have seen they are more likely to do so. There is the hurry factor, as you say, so as not to waste drinking time.

The reason that most men do not wash their hans is - HAVE YOU SMELLED THE MENS LOOS - I would rather have a bit of my own wee on my hands than be breathing in the fermented wee of everyone who has been in the last 3 weeks!!!!
