re surname

can anyone please tell me why my surname  is going out on e-mail.and what I can do to erase it I did not type it in . thanks.

Open OUTLOOK EXPRESS, click the TOOLS tab, then ACCOUNTS, then highlight the email address, and click PROPERTIES, on the GENERAL tab, where is says NAME, delete your surname.
