I went to School with a boy of Turkish origin, we knew him as Gerk or Gurk.  We are trying to trace him for a reunion. What would be the correct spelling?  someone seems to think it is Gurken or something similar.

The correct spelling of the name is; KEBAB although certain Turkish establishments use the double barrel equivalent DONER-KEBAB which literally means 'Wrapped in Pitta with extra chilli sauce'
