a new build that looks like it's something older

No, never a new build, I prefer a bit of character in my home!
Old.
I'd actually like to live in a bungalow.

I'd go for old every time.
Our house was built in the 1930's - it is the youngest house I have ever lived in
Just sleep on the sofa everynight, ummm.

I'm with aelmpvw ...
I like new builds. But the last two have been old, and we've practically had to rebuild this last one - rewired/plumbed and boilered you name it, we have a damp patch in the kitchen that no-one can seem to cure, but I think caused by concrete guttering which will cost a fortune to replace.
I would like a bungalow with bedrooms :-)

Talbot - what are you doing with ael? I didn't know you lived near each other
Old everytime.
Mind your own business

I live in a bungalow, well, a chalet bungalow. Our bedroom is the whole of the upstairs whilst the kids bedrooms are downstairs. I absolutely love it.
Playing pool in the pub ...
... and we had to wait an hour for the pub to open
Mine is similar to Emerdale farm, olde world but cosy with mod cons....lotsa cons ;). It works but I fear strong winds blowing down chimney above me.
Mine is new made to look old. I think I'd prefer the real thing (as long as it had new plumbing, wiring, no spooky spidery holes etc)
Plan to downsize into my caravan ;)
Old please, something with lots of character.
