I was recently stopped in traffic at the entrance to an Orthodox Jews boys school as the lads were arriving for the day. Every boy, without exception, was wearing spectacles. As it was just one of many Orthodox Schools in the area and not a school for the blind this got me wondering, and a drive through the area confirmed that every Orthodox Jewish male of any age seemed to be wearing glasses. Why is this?

You seem to be forgetting the barbaric act of castration ------ sorry circumcision still practised by the Jews. Wouldn`t your eyes suffer!!!!!
