Man Who Couldn't Sleep

Does anyone remember a few years ago there was a documentary on TV about a man who, for some medical reason I can't remember, could not fall asleep. He even couldn't sleep when heavily sedated, and he eventually (much to his relief I bet) died. I remember his two sisters talking to the presenter about their brother. I can't remember how long he stayed awake though. Can anyone remember this and refer me to a website. Thanks for help.

I don't remember the specific programme, but there is a medical condition which means that some people do not need to sleep at all - or perhaps only a little bit. I can't remember what it's called.
