One of my mates wound his aunty up good style once - she forgot to take her deccies down on the 6th January. This is meant to be bad luck, so he told her that to cancel it out she'd need to leave them up until Easter! She nearly did too - it was the beginning of February before someone told her and spoiled it all.

I am really keen to know if Muslims in Britain celebrate diwali as muslims in India do have a token celebration in that their children buy fireworks and have a great time.
