Lat night on my way to Wembley we got caught in a traffic jam cause by an 'incident' which had forced a road to be shut. We drove past on the other side of the road and saw tons of police, fire fighters and riot police. A man was on the roof throwing bricks and breaking windows. Does anybody know what this was all about? Or know where I would be able to find out?

www.bbc.co.uk/london sometimes has real local news like this, but not on this occasion that I can see. www.thisislondon.com - the Evening Standard's website - ditto. It may be that the Standard itself or Metro is more useful but I wouldn't bet on it.
