Good luck to him. I hope some of the cynicism in a couple of posts here isn't reflected on other social media, but I know that's asking way too much from Twitter.
If he is a practising homosexual,
Does that mean you have to practice?
Growing up in the 40sand 50s it was illegal to be a homosexual,I still find it difficult to adjust to the fact that it’s so wide spread,
The television seems to have gays in abundance,
Where were the all years ago?
Oh yes in the closet.
Well said Naomi ..
Having led a sheltered life I never really have watched morning tv in my life, I must be completely out of touch with reality. The only time I would get a glimpse of morning tv was when working in a customers house and the telly might be on in the background..
My wife sent me a text a few hours ago saying that Phillip Schofield is gay... Phillip who ?
Having to think about who Phillip Schofield was .. I then said I know who you are talking about ... he's the grey, gay guy who is on telly with the blonde in the morning.
I have always assumed that he was gay, from what little I have seen of him !
It absolutely bothers me not where Schofield parks his pudding.
I'm more concerned about the amount of interest people and the media are showing - honestly, who cares?
Is there an autobiography coming out?
People do care though, Naomi. There are many people who struggle with their sexuality for whatever reason, usually religious, so a household name like Philip Schofield coming out might encourage others to do so.
