Don't worry, I'm here.
If you read my answers, you will see that I do not correct 'every little mistake'. As I have acknowledged more than once, everyone makes mistakes, myself included. However, I do correct certain fundamental mistakes that keep occurring and are clearly not typos - eg, the misuse of apostrophes and the use of Americanisms instead of perfectly good English words. If you feel that's arrogant, rogersaurus, I pity you - is it really so arrogant to believe that British people should have pride in their own language instead of being happy to make fundamental mistakes, or wilfully abandon their own language because the Americans use something different? I fail to see anything arrogant in helping people to improve their knowledge of their own language, and avoid making fundamental mistakes in future. Some of them, judging by responses I have had, are actually quite appreciative.
