Has anyone in the UK experienced snow and lightening at the same time?

In 1981 i used a Borne Blonde number 98, nearly the lightest on the market, and It snowed quite heavily.

I dont' think the atmospheric conditions needed for lightening are possible when it is snowing and vica versa.
I thought thunder and lightning was also forecast on Monday when we had snow in East Anglia.

Must have been either 93 or 94, went to see Liverpool play at Crystal Palace, started sunny, then rain, thunder and lightening and then snow! At one point we had both the lightening as well as the snow.

Last year in Southampton...there was thunder and lightning then it snowed really heavily really suddenly. Very strange.
