My Aunt is coming over from the US soon, and she's asked us what we would like as a little present. Can anyone think of something that wouldn't cost very much, but that I could only get from America?
I have a chain on my back door which I bought in the US and have never seen in the UK. It's to stop the door opening too wide, not a front door security chain, and it has a spring built in to cushion the whump when a gust of wind catches the door and flings it open.

How about a tacky state license plate from your aunt's home state (you can get those in most malls for about $10-15). Are you looking for quality or tacky/kitsch? How about foodstuffs?
I don't want anything too tacky, although I like the idea of a license plate. I also like the idea of food, but I don't really know what in particular I could ask for. My Aunt lives in Montana, if that makes a difference.
Well, I've made my decision and asked my Auntie for some sweets and maple syrup. Thank you all for your suggestions, I'd still be dithering without them. (I'm a Libra and Librans are supposed to be indecisive, but I'm not sure if I believe that)
