Does Anyone Remember Hans + Lotte Hass..

I have always thought it would be nice to be a twin. To always have someone who thinks like me and i can get on with.
I know not all twins get on but i think generally they are very close.
When i eventually have kids i would like them to be twins because i would feel like i know they would (probably) be close forever and always have each other to rely on when i'm gone - more so than ordinary siblings
what do you think?
thanks

I know not all sisters get on with each other but i would love to have one, twin or not.
Also, i don't think i would've liked to have an identical twin coz then i'd think my boyfriend fancied her too or would mistake her for me one day :)
I heard somewhere that twins have a higher chance of being passed down through the female...
I'm an identical twin and its good, but not as drammatically different as many people think.
I (we!) have an elder brother and I am not as close to him as I am my twin, but we are still close like brothers who are good mates are. A lot of it comes down to growing up closely together with your twin, doing similar things and having shared freinds. We only became slightly different after leaving school to go to Uni, Ironically, after varied career paths, we both now have similar jobs, more by accident than intent!
Weird things do happen though - my twin lives in Jersey, I live in Berkshire. Only this lunchtime I was strolling through town and one of his colleagues on a business trip passed me and recognized "my twin", stopping to say hello - fortunately I had met him previously so understood the confusion. A fortnight ago some girl he knew from years back spied "him" in a ski bar in Val D'Isere and would not have it otherwise that I was a different person...and when we were teenagers I had a lot of explaining to do when my girlfriends parents saw "me" out with another girl! :-)
Its great fun - I wouldn't want not to be a twin.
