I live in the middle of England,and we haven't had any serious snow for years. My 9 year old daughter wants to build a snowman,so she gets miserable when the news keeps showing the rest of the country buried under the white stuff.

Why doesn't it ever snow on me?

Bless her ! She is very welcome to come here to the east coast (Norfolk) and build a snowman. We have had to practically dig ourselves out this morning.!
I only remember two bad winters when snow prevented us from getting about in Lancashire, 1962 and 1981/82. Other than that it just hasn't happened. That is why it is exciting waiting for it to happen again. Remember the summer of 1976? Hot or what!?
My sister who lives in Morecambe Lancashire, says the last time she had to sweep snow off the car was in 1995. Puts it down to global warming.

Come and visit me in Germany.

We just had some more snow last night...

I have always loved snow too, so understand how disappointed your daughter must feel.

I can't wait to go outside with our Grandchildren to make a big snowman - but alas, no snow as yet in Bedfordshire, South East of England! :o{

Make one out of polystyrene
Now that's a good idea Fish Kid - at least our hands won't get cold!
I know mightyWBA I have the same problem! I didn't even mention the weather forecast this week because I know we never get the exiting stuff. Still nothing here in North Cambs.
Just a light fluttering of snow this afternoon - I got all excited, but it stopped just as I was going out of the door shopping!!
