I'm not going to discuss it any further.. I made a mistake. I should have said submission, Not submissions to make things clearer although there were several submissions involved but not to do with rating orders ww. If you read the remaining diana posts from last night in People and Places you will get a gist of what it's about but mostly you will get a false and irrelevant impression due to the butchering and reconstructing performed by AB so it's a false fiasco of fabulous editing. though some would say its a norm of journalism and not fabulous at all. Swift should shudder. Anyway the subject of the discussion was 'taboos' and our wilful predilection to sweep stuff under the carpet instead of facing up to our human identity and next time you shudder at an invalid, hide it well because it's taboo to show real feelings. You know when your on the bus, say and a young child looks at you and you look back but he keeps on staring.? There is a certain age where he stops this natural behaviour and looks away with a kind of guilt, he's learned the taboo of not staring. I guess it happens around the age of six. So when someone is in trouble in the street getting robbed and we all look the other way. People do. You know why, because we're trained and tabooed to keep Shtum and not get involved and not do anything to stand out from the crowd. It's also why more people die in public fires, becuse they're scared to be the first to react. And so taboos should be lifted where possible and the taboo of last night was 'sick' jokes and why we all make them but won't admit to it in polite company that's all and AB banned and ccensored the heel out of it.
