Great to see everyone doing so well in Adelaide. The Australians along with the Maori population have been very welcoming. Its a great pity we had to send all those criminals there years ago, for not paying the poll tax, but some good has come of it, as Devils Island is now a popular tourist attraction. I hope we can keep on winning those gold medals. Roll on London 2008.

Adelaide? Do you mean the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne? Maori? Do you mean Aboriginal? 2008? Do you mean 2012?
Ouch......I remember once meeting an American lady who thought the Sydney Harbour Bridge connected New Zealand to Australia. Maybe she was right if the Maori has moved to Adelaide, or is it Melbourne?? Whatever you're smoking casaespana, please pass on the recipe.
nearly right in all respects except the facts, casaportugesa
Personally I think it's great to see the Balinese performing so greatly in the Tennis this year. Why, I remember the Munich games when Welsh were beaten at their national sport of bog snorkling by the Isrealis, led to a day of mourning in Antarctica it did. Can't wait for this year's cricket world cup in Myanmar.
Can't believe no ones noticed the Devils Island mistake as well.Papillon will be spinning in his grave!
It so nice to see Jamie Theakston back on the telly presenting the Commonwealth Games and old trooper Sue Barker seems to be getting over the sad death of her husband Ronnie.
That Colin Jackson is a nice fella isnt he? Is he married do you know? I think any mum would like for their daughter to bring home such a lovely looking lad with such nice ways about him.
It also nice to see us letting the colonies win so much when they are obviously inferior in every way to good old Blighty!
This Commonwealth Games thingy seems such a jolly wheeze why doesnt someone stand up and suggest we hold something similiar in this country. Despite the rain and all the gun crime i think those lovely people in Manchester should get a chance. I wouldnt suggest London to anyone though because they will certainly not get a look in and if they did they are almost certain to f**k it up!
I hope Colin is using some of the Licence payers' money he's getting to pay his workers at his Neverland Ranch.
I hope that CasaEspaa isn't planning any visits to Adelaide in the near future! If so, I hope that he/she has very good travel insurance because the lynching party will be waiting!

I've visited Adelaide and know that one of the things which all the locals take great pride in telling visiting 'poms' is that Adelaide is the only major Australian city which was NOT founded by convicts. The city was founded by volunteers who travelled to Australia to start a new life based entirely upon their own hard work and community spirit. Anyone who mentions convicts in Adelaide does so at their own (considerable) risk!

Buenchico. Thanks for the advice. I'm insured with Sheilas Wheels, so I should be in safe hands if I ever visit Adelaide.
