at a guess, cutting hair somewhere....

This questions reminded me of something. There was one customer who hated having her hair cut, so much so that it was almost a phobia, and the hairdresser was very sympathetic and said there was a name for it.

I too hate having my hair cut and would rather go to the dentist, my friends all think I am a fruit cake, but I sit there white knuckled not able to speak and tell them how I want it, hence the 'pudding basin' look. I cannot make an appointment, I have to go in and hope they can fit me in (or rather hope they CAN'T). Anyway, enough rambling, does anyone know the word for a phobia of haircuts?

ask the word monster!!

Gina (receptionist) has her own salon in Swindon.

I know Aidie and Paul have their own salon in London, may be near Soho.

lankeela - I would rather walk bare foot over burning coals than go to a hairdresser.I hate everyhing - the idle chit chat, the cloak, the just be with you in a minute - the whole falseness of the situation.Dont worry I'm not like Worzel Gummidge because I have naturally curly/wavy hair and I just get my pals to trim it cos it just bounces up into a curl or a ringlet anyway. So glad there is a name for it - thought I was mad (no comments please S if u read this)
sure ive seen the receptionist ( one with long black curly first series) in other fly on wall documentary with lee somebody opening a salon in brighton
