I have to write an essay about how women are represented in the mass media; does anyone have any views or any ideas of where i can find some infromation to back up my views and ideas. Thank you for your time and help.

Not wanting to be rude, but have you tried the (school/ college/ university) library at all?! It's a really well-researched area and there are absolutely millions of books, articles and papers about this subject. Even your local county library will probably have some stuff. It's really not that hard.
