odd phone call

I recieved a phone call a couple of weeks ago and it was by a woman who seemed to know me. She said we had met in a nightclub and she had lied about her age. I told her she had a wrong number because i did not know her. The number was withheld and i could hear laughing in the background. Some of my friends recieved identical/similar phone calls and I have a slight suspicion it was a prank sent to loads of people. If anyone knows about it please say so.

It's probably your friends playing a joke on you - maybe even those who say they received a similar call and are covering up.

there is a new phone prank download you can buy and have sent to anyone, i used it to send a call to my bloke saying it was the council saying the neighbours had complained about the music he played, not that it was loud, just that it was crap music! he didn't get it was a prank and the call is recorded and played back to the operson who paid for it, he was rather blunt!lol

I am very very sure it wasnt my mates. I know that is the most obvious answer but i dont think so. cheers anyway.

A guy in my work got the same call last week, the girl then goes on to offer to meet up and offers to do stuff.

His mates then played back the call including his response and all had a laugh.

Could be someone tried to send it to a pal and dialled a wrong number.

I've just recieved the same call, and it shook me up a bit with the girl sayin she lied about her age, but I knew it was either a wrong number or a prank as she said she'd met me in a nightclub - i've not been out clubbing in ages, and have never given my number out to people i've met either!
