However, the Mensa IQ test is age dependent; the older you are, the more questions you need to get right. Scroll about half way down this page to 'How do I qualify' for more info.

There are also different styles of test which generate different qualification bands! I believe that Mensa generally use 2 tests - one is more mathematical based and one is more language based. You can qualify on either test and you are measured against the standard performance of the general population and have to get into the top 2% of those that were used to standardise the tests.
So.... someone may pass with an IQ of say 145 on one test and another person could score 155 on the other - both passing but the two scores are like comparing apples & bananas.
