huge family get -together

i have a huge family and we want to have a get together sometime in summer. Problem is we need a hotel or something that will accept a booking for one night, is child friendly and is in round about the middle of england. we are currently drawing a blank. can anyone suggest a place that could accomodate us (we believe between 70-120 people will be coming) at a reasonable price. your help will be most appreciated

Does it have to be at a hotel? For my wedding reception we hired a local hall and there was a hotel within a ten minute walk away (that was in Oxford). The club had three rooms, one holding up to 100, one up to 300 and one up to 600 people.

Ring Best Western Hotels in York 01904 695400 (head office) one of their places must be able to help. Their costs are usually reasonable and all of their hotels I've stayed in have been spotless and very well run. If you want a function room just outside of Leeds with a nearby holiday inn let me know though my local has the scope and is also able to cater for the numbers you have in mind.
