Who used the sign-off


"and look after dear old Mum"? It has been suggested that it was "Uncle Mac" from Children's Favourites, but I am not sure, as he made famous the sign-off " Goodnight Children -everywhere".

You're not the first to ask this question. After several suggestions, the previous questioner seemed happy to accept the name Peter Lloyd, who was, apparently, the host of ATV's 'Seeing Sport':
