Bold and coloured text in replies...
29 Answers
This may well have been asked many times, but...
...how come you all seem able to type in multi-colours when I can't;
...how do names appear in bold when you reference them in a reply;
....how do you get web addresses in colour and underlined;
....how do you create a link to a site without typing in its name, e.g. when people just say 'there is information here' and the word 'here' is a link to another site?????
Sorry for so many question, but my posts look so dull!
Thank you

I can't explain about the links because I am basically a computer dunce but am sure someone will guide you along as to how to do it.
I think you copy and paste the Url and then overwite it without spaces .
I'll go now !!

Colours, bold, italic etc: there should be a row of them just above the panel where you type your answer, but I believe these aren't available on things like Firefox, only Internet Explorer. To link a word, type or copy the full address of the website you want to link to, hit the space bar (not the return key) so that it will appear in colour and underscored; then you can highlight it (drag the cursor/arrow over it) and type in 'here' or whatever you want - the link will still work.
I have just learnt how to post a link today. Don't know how they do it by writing here though. If you want to post a link, get on to the page you want, in another window, and then right click in the address box and click copy, then go back onto post an answer, right click on copy and it should come up. By pressing the space bar, it underlines it. Clever eh?
here here we go!
