Am I a Northener or a Southener?
8 Answers
Having just read Mandy73's thread north v south, I have started to wonder which one I am! I was born in Oford and lived there until I was about 4 then we moved and have lived in Lancashire for the past 20 years, so... am I Southern because of where I was born? or Northern as I have been here so long now? I know its not a burning question but its this or my final exam revision, and im not so keen on that! thanks in advance x

Being northern is more a state of mind than where you were born. I know people who grew up in London but have lived the majority of their lives in the north yet still retain their London identity but also i know people who have only lived in the north for only a few years yet consider themselves northern.
As the chief assessor for the Honoury Northerner Commitee i hereby grant you Northern Status daftpixie. Have a Hollands pie and a glass of Vimto on me!
