waiting for items from u.s.a.

Help can anyone tell me how long it takes for items from u.s.a. to get to uk? i was told by company it would be 3 to 5 days it as been 6 now.could anyone help me? please,

I would think it depends on where in the USA it is being sent from and also which type of post it is being sent by. My daughter sends parcels from Colorado and the quickest we have received one is a week but also have had one that took 4 to 5 weeks. New York would probably be quicker as there are more flights each day. There's only one direct flight a day from Denver. Not very helpful I'm afraid but I would give it a little longer before you panic.

I get mail from Colorado too. Anything from 5 to 14 days. Depends which side of the bed the US post people get out of. Don't start worrying yet!

I receive mail from New York and Alabama often and it never takes more that 5 days. First class mail from main land Britain can also take 5 days.

I know about things getting from the States to Germany, I don't think there's much difference.

And I have had anything from a week to nearly a month.
So don't worry for at least another five days...
