01788 is the code for Rugby.
It belongs to the Rugby area, and also seems to include Crick and West Haddon. The following link takes you top a site run by an outfit called Cardinal, and includes a telephone code locator. It is very useful. http://194.93.145.70/
Sorry WendyW, we must have posted at the same time!!
As I live in West Haddon I can vouch for BenDToy's answer. It also covers loads of other villages on the Warks/Northants border, so if you say a 15 mile radius of Rugby, you won't be far wrong.

Its most famous claim to fame icecold, is that there is a public school there(Made famous in the book 'Tom Brown's schooldays') where some boys were playing football when William Webb Ellis picked up the ball and ran with it. Thus, so the story goes, Rugby football was invented.
Other Rugby claims to fame are: One time home of Rupert Brooke, hundreds of huge aerials and the worst memorial(?) to Charles and Di getting married in the country (a lamp post with a clock on the top)
