Masai marriage

I have just come back from a hol in Kenya and learnt there that the Masai are allowed to take a wife as young as 10 years of age (as long as he's killed a lion prior to that!!). If that Masai warrior were to come to England with his wife would he be breaking any laws here??

I don't think Maasai are particularly given to pedophilia, so you'll probably find that it's more theoretical than real. The age of consent in Kenya is 16. It varies worldwide - it can be as low as 13 in Canada, 20 in Tunisia. In the middle ages, children often married in Europe, but it was for dynastic reasons; there wouldn't be any sex before puberty and probably not for a while after.
