looking for an old friend

hi i'm trying to find an old friend she was called katherine dent and married michael mccaffrey in may2004 he is in the raf and the last i heard they were living in lincoln. i've tried b4usearch.com and friends reunited. has anybody else got any other suggestions? any help greatly appreciated xXx

Well, I've had a look on Friends Reunited & found a Katherine Dent who is married to a Michael & who live in Lincolnshire - I wonder if it could be them?......

You're very welcome posy - I just opened all the profiles for that name, some of which didn't have any comments on, but that one did!

I'm so pleased for you - of course you have to be a fully paid member (�7.50 subscription) to email her, but it's worth every penny - I've had lots of school friends contact me & we've had great fun reminiscing.

smudge i have a problem! to pay the friends reunited fee i have to have a debit or credit card but i don't have one!! i don't know any other way to get in contact with her!! what do i do now?

The only thing I can think of, is if you could ask your parents or a friend to use their debit card & you reimburse them. I've dont this before for someone without any problems. I only wish I could do it for you.....frustrating eh?! -x-

The only other way, is for me to email her & ask her to get in touch with you - but then I'd need your name & email address! Not wise giving those out on here though!

Hi rosyposy - just a thought - the trouble with me contacting Katherine via Friends Reunited, is that although it won't reveal my email address to her, it will automatically reveal my personal names, which is a bit daunting.

I'm really sorry to diasappoint you rosy, but hope you understand what I mean - it's too dodgy for people on the internet who you don't know, to be given personal details.

I'm sure there must be someone who would pay by credit card for you & for you to reimburse them.

Hello Posy jo, Perhaps if someone on AB comes from Lincolnshire, you could leave a post asking for them to look in the local telephone directory for you? Unless you know which town they live in then you could look at an online directory yourself!

I just googled "find a UK phone number" and up popped BT phonebook. I put in the name, but as you dont know the address, I just keyed in Lincolnshire and it up came a name phone number and address. Try it, it may not be them, but on the other hand it might be!!
